Info
On December 12, 2026, Hans Williams lands at Supersonic in Paris with his folk-soul — spare and inhabited. Born in Vermont and based in New Orleans, he crafts intimate songwriting, guided by the guitar, where the warmth of soul and the sense of groove jostle the fragility of the lyrics. In his tracks, you glimpse the shadow of Al Green, Tracy Chapman, or James Brown, but always digested into a personal, direct writing, meant to accompany the doubts of daily life and turn them into energy.
In recent months, he has released a string of tracks that sketch what's next: 'True Feeling', 'Nosebleed' with Lyla George, 'Janie' with Phin Choukas, not to mention 'Skin' or 'Willows'. On stage, surrounded by his band, Hans Williams stretches these songs to the point where emotion and movement meet, like a moment of simple, taut, and genuinely alive sharing.
