Skip the Use

Skip The Use arrives at 6MIC in Aix-en-Provence on March 11, 2027 with the Love & Anxiety Tour. Three years after Human Disorder, the Lille quartet is getting back in motion with We Are Good / Distorter, the first taste of a sixth album in the works. Mat Bastard (vocals), Yan Stefani (guitar), Enzo Gabert (drums) and Nelson Martins (bass) used a creative break to write separately, then pieced everything together into a sonic puzzle where rock, electro and punk meet — conceived with live performance in mind.

We Are Good traces a clear, melodic line, while Distorter hits more directly, between nervous riffs, techno pulses and slogans that challenge the established order. On stage, Skip The Use bets on compact energy, hooky choruses and a razor-tight rhythm section, driven by Mat Bastard’s voice. Between new material and signature tracks, the band delivers a taut, unifying set in which electronic impact rubs up against unfiltered guitars. It’s a comeback that promises to be direct and no-nonsense, tailored to move the mosh pit and remind audiences why Skip The Use is built for the stage.
