Info
Bad Manners bring their brass-heavy ska and two-tone roots to London as part of The Beat – Dance Crazed Too UK Tour, at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 2 October 2026. Formed in North London in the late 1970s around frontman Buster Bloodvessel, the band carved a style that blends Jamaican ska, rapid-fire rhythms and pop-minded hooks, close to the 2 Tone spirit without being tied to the label. On stage, that mix becomes tight grooves, shout-along refrains and a playful edge that has marked the group since the start.
The set draws from the early run that made their name — Lip Up Fatty, Special Brew, and tracks from Ska ’n’ B, Loonee Tunes!, Gosh It’s… Bad Manners and Forging Ahead — alongside later cuts from a catalogue built over decades of touring. Their appearance in the 1981 Dance Craze film fixed Bad Manners in the history of British ska; this tour nods to that legacy while keeping the focus on live momentum. With Bloodvessel as the constant and a lineup built on punchy horns and crisp upstrokes, the band revisits a catalogue designed for movement, straight from the heart of the UK ska revival.
