Red Rum Club bring their Merseyside indie rock to O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on 8 October 2026. Formed in Crosby in 2016 out of the local scene, the band has carved a clear identity: tense, melodic songs where upfront bass and crisp guitars meet a melodic flair that once leaned on a distinctive trumpet line. Across Matador (2019), The Hollow of Humdrum (2020), How to Steal the World (2021), Western Approaches (2024) and Buck (2025), they move between alternative rock, indie pop and a touch of americana, shaping direct, singable hooks without losing bite. The 2026 departure of trumpeter Joe Corby marks a new chapter for their live sound, opening space for fresh arrangements while keeping the band’s rhythmic drive intact. On stage, they draw on years of touring and festival miles, from Glastonbury and Isle of Wight to Kendal Calling, and runs with Blossoms and The Wombats.
