Orishas

Orishas arrive at Pandora Sevilla on October 9, 2026. Born in Havana in the late ’90s within the milieu of the group Amenaza, the trio formed by Yotuel Romero, Roldán González and Ruzzo Medina consolidated a Cuban rap that converses with Latin hip hop, son, rumba and guajira, with constant nods to Afro‑Cuban culture. Their move to Europe and their signing in Paris spurred a songwriting marked by social chronicle, diasporic identity and the island’s musical memory, featuring sung choruses and arrangements that evoke Cuban traditions without losing an urban pulse.

On stage, that blend becomes embodied: sharp verses and melodic voices intersect with roots rhythms and contemporary beats, in a repertoire that traces key stages of their career, from A lo cubano (2000) and Emigrante (2002) to El Kilo (2005) and Cosita Buena (2008). After a hiatus, the 2016 reunion and the album Gourmet (2018) updated their sonic map, maintaining the bridge between Havana and the European and Latin American scenes. In Seville, Orishas condense that journey, bringing the experience of artists who have crossed paths with leading figures of the urban field, such as Calle 13 at Pa’l Norte (2007).
