Reflecting the realities of contemporary capitalist urban life and the impossibility of finding a balance between work and art in a metropolis with high rents, Toronto-based Kiwi Jr. has crafted their own postmodern, deadpan indie rock. They have toured in 13 countries and opened for bands such as Pavement, The Walkmen, Dinosaur Jr., and Guided By Voices. They are currently working on their fourth album and have signed with K Records, based in Olympia, Washington.
