Stephan Eicher

Stephan Eicher returns to Bordeaux on 10 November 2026 at the Théâtre Femina with Poussière d’Or, a new album crafted at piano-stool height with a guitar on his knee. When the world buzzes too loudly, he sits down, looks for harmonies, lets the melodies come, and entrusts the words to two writing companions, Philippe Djian and Martin Suter. These seeds shared among friends become songs, gain substance through contact with other musicians, and then take shape as an album. On stage, Eicher gathers them and sets them in motion, balancing intimacy with collective momentum.

A singer‑songwriter who moves between French, German and English, he blends song with pop and folk textures, sometimes tinged with an electronic breath. The concert summons his new pieces alongside older tracks, with that attention to detail that keeps the balance between sparseness and fuller arrangements.
