Info
Lynda Lemay and Jean-Félix Lalanne bring their guitars together for an intimate acoustic tête-à-tête in which voice and text take the lead. The Quebec singer unfolds her everyday stories, portraits and confidences, moving between understated humour and more sensitive territory. Opposite her, the French guitarist weaves clear lines, precise picking, folk colours and jazz-inflected touches, all conceived to support, contrast and propel the material.
The duo revisits well-known songs and presents more recent pieces in a pared-down setting, without excess, that places the words at the centre. They move from close-knit duets to solo moments, from delicate arpeggios to more pronounced counter-melodies, with a concern for letting silences breathe and allowing emotion to flow without exaggeration. Their onstage rapport is audible in the arrangements, crafted as a continuous dialogue between timbres, rhythms and dynamics.
This encounter continues their collaboration around the album À fleurs de cordes, conceived as a conversation between lyrics and guitar. See them on October 22, 2026 at L’EMC2 in Saint-Grégoire.
