Black Bomb A has carved out a solid place in France's metal/hardcore scene. With two vocalists, the band alternates between screamed vocals, rhythmic, chanted deliveries and more melodic passages, driven by a tight rhythm section and razor-sharp guitars. Live, their crossover of punk, thrash and modern metal gets straight to the point, with punchy structures and an energy that compels movement.
Headcharger, from Caen, moves between stoner, heavy, ’90s grunge and tight hardcore. Massive riffs, pronounced groove and rough vocals: the five-piece draws from across that spectrum to deliver a metallic heavy rock that keeps a cool head while turning the volume up. On stage, efficiency prevails, with rock-driven tension, dense buildups and in-your-face choruses.
