Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine is back on the road with "Des Adieux", a tour that closes out more than five decades of lyric-driven rock. Since the 1970s, the Jura-born artist has forged his own path without confining himself, with 18 albums to his name spanning folk, blues and electric rock. His pen of oblique images, his irony, the literary nods, and that blend of taut guitars and ear-catching ballads are all present. On 28 May 2027 he will be at Zénith Nantes Métropole in Saint-Herblain to draw from a dense repertoire, from Dernières balises and Soleil cherche futur to Défloration 13, Suppléments de mensonge and Géographie du vide. On stage, Thiéfaine shifts from the gritty to the acoustic with a precision that puts the lyrics at the centre, supported by a tight, finely honed band. Announced as his final tour, Des Adieux brings together his emblematic songs and presents live the singular trajectory of his place in French chanson.
