Rush

Rush will be performing on 19 February 2027 at Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre. Born in Toronto in 1968, the band led by Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson forged a brand of rock at the crossroads of hard rock and progressive rock, built on extended structures, shifting time signatures and a genuine attention to melodic detail. From their early blues-rock impulses to the conceptual turn of 2112 and Moving Pictures, and then to the synth textures of Signals, their sound has continuously evolved without losing its instrumental precision.

On stage, Geddy Lee’s voice and bass converse with Alex Lifeson’s textured guitars, combining razor‑sharp riffs, swathes of keyboards and impeccably timed transitions. The repertoire draws from several decades of work, from signature tracks like “Tom Sawyer” and “Subdivisions” to more narrative-driven pieces, where rhythmic intensity underpins finely wrought arrangements. A concert that foregrounds the technical approach and the narrative dimension running through Rush’s entire catalogue, balancing raw energy with a strong sense of construction.
