On May 26, 2026, The Guess Who bring the Takin’ It Back Tour to Avenir Centre in Moncton. Formed in Winnipeg in the early 60s, the band moved from pop and blues roots toward psychedelic colors and a harder 70s edge, building a catalogue of songs with tight harmonies and melodic guitar work. Albums like Wheatfield Soul, American Woman and Share the Land marked those shifts and set the tone for a sound that still anchors their shows today. With drummer Garry Peterson on board, the current line-up keeps the focus on songs, groove and interplay.
Also on the bill, guitarist and songwriter Don Felder traces a path from Gainesville to Los Angeles studios and his key years with Eagles, where he co-wrote Hotel California and shaped a style mixing slide, riffs and harmonized leads. In parallel, he’s pursued a solo career and logged studio work across mainstream pop and rock. On stage, he reconnects these threads with a clear, melodic approach.
