Headlining, Rise of the Northstar, a French band that combines hardcore energy, heavy riffs and Japanese imagery, leads the charge. ten56., a homegrown act, delivers raw deathcore with massive breakdowns. From the United States, The Browning blends machines and guitars, fusing electronic elements with extreme metal. Revnoir brings a dark tension, driven by modern metal with icy melodies and nervous bursts of speed. Ice Sealed Eyes, hailing from Belgium, serves incisive, direct and catchy metalcore. SPLEEN puts French nu metal back in the spotlight with thick grooves and punchy choruses. Th3ory rounds out the line-up on the cyber nu metal front, with an industrial, digital sheen.
