Julien Clerc is back on tour and will perform in Avignon on 16 October 2026, on the Confluence Spectacles Avignon stage. A songwriter, composer and performer since the late 1960s, he has made a name for himself with a distinctive voice and a strong sense of melody that has accompanied several generations. At the piano, surrounded by musicians, he revisits his repertoire, alternating intimate songs and pop momentum, with careful attention to both lyrics and sound.
On the program is a set that blends classics and more recent pieces. Ma préférence, Femmes je vous aime, Mélissa, Ce n’est rien and other signature songs find new life in concert, carried by polished arrangements and an onstage closeness familiar to his audience. It’s an opportunity to see an artist who performs in the present and lets his songs circulate simply, for the duration of a concert in Avignon.
