Alain Chamfort

Alain Chamfort continues his journey with L’Impermanence, a record through which he has chosen to turn the page on the traditional album format. A composer who has spanned eras and inspired major songwriters — from Serge Gainsbourg to Pierre‑Dominique Burgaud and Jacques Duval — he continues to explore precise, melodic songwriting. Sébastien Tellier co‑wrote “Whisky Glace” with him and extended their collaboration on a recent EP. On stage, these new songs unfold alongside rarer selections from his repertoire, not forgetting a few rearranged classics.

On 7 March 2026 at La Loco Mézidon Vallée d’Auge, Alain Chamfort will be on vocals and keyboards, with musical direction by Adrien Soleiman. He will be joined by Arnaud Gavini on drums, Jérôme Arrighi on bass and backing vocals, Clément Fonio on guitar and backing vocals, and Julia Jerosme on keyboards and backing vocals. The evening is conceived as a connecting thread between present and past, to rediscover a body of work that has accompanied several generations while opening a new chapter on stage.
