Info

Since their first EP Hurricanes, Camp Claude have moved forward with a clear identity: a blend of pop, electronic and cold wave, cut from a material they call skywave. Synthetic textures rub against rougher riffs, the melodies stick, and the atmospheres glide from light to dark without losing their thread. There’s a cinematic sensibility at play, images unfolding, and a way of working that is simple and precise.

The trio brings together Diane Sagnier on vocals and machines, with Leo Hellden and Michael Giffts on guitars and arrangements. Together they disrupt conventions, alternating softness and bite, and evoke echoes of Massive Attack, The Cardigans, New Order, even the shadow of David Lynch. These references are acknowledged, but their trajectory remains personal, driven by direct songwriting and clean productions.

On 9 April 2026 at the Trabendo in Paris, Camp Claude switch to stage mode. A taut, sensitive set, where gauzy vocals, sharp guitars and tight rhythms push the songs toward a physical intensity. Without unnecessary effects, the band goes straight to the point, lets the tension build, then releases its grip. It’s an opportunity to experience their skywave up close.
