Arthur H et Pierre Le Bourgeois

Info

Arthur H and cellist Pierre Le Bourgeois create music live, between acoustic matter and electronic tools, on 20 March 2026 at the Théâtre de l'Atelier in Paris. Two musicians on stage: a cello that breathes and rumbles, a piano that opens doors, keyboards, a guitar and a voice that glide from poetry to trance.

Pierre Le Bourgeois makes wood and metal sing, alternately lyrical and rough. He samples, loops, tweaks, transforms and stretches timbre, sculpting landscapes of strings. Opposite him, Arthur H moves from piano to keyboards, alters, redirects and expands motifs, carrying his themes and songs into other forms.

Everything is built on the spot, Méliès-style: low-tech, deliberate gestures, analog as compass. Together they reinvent classics, tipping the sound from the warm grain of the acoustic toward endless processing, for a contemporary narrative in which the human remains at the controls of the machine. In the moment, they favor listening, risk-taking, play, and an energy that flows without filter.
