Knox

Born in Ohio and hailing from Dayton, Knox, whose real name is Knox Morris, has since the early 2020s developed a pop-rock writing rooted in indie pop and alternative rock, with tracks centered on relationships, romantic missteps, and a direct chorus. After playing at open mics near his hometown during his studies at Ohio University, he tries several televised auditions before moving to Nashville to devote himself to music. Knox first releases a string of singles, then the EP How to Lose a Girl in 7 Songs in 2023, followed the same year by I’m So Good at Being Alone?, which marks a clearer milestone in his exposure, notably with the track Not the 1975. His format remains that of concise guitar pop, propelled by immediate melodies, a clear production, and a tone between sentimental confession, light irony and accessible rock energy. On stage, Knox has shared the bill with The Band CAMINO and Nightly, while developing his own tours. His discography later expanded with the album Going, Going, Gone in 2025. Among his collaborations are Charlotte Sands, Nightly, Bilmuri, Hardy, Alexa Cappelli and Lew, in a register that remains anchored in contemporary American alternative pop.
