Tiny Habits

Born in Boston in 2022, Tiny Habits brings together Cinya Khan, Maya Rae and Judah Mayowa, three musicians who attended Berklee College of Music. The project began during the pandemic with three-part vocal covers that evolved into a collaborative band. Tiny Habits sits within a folk-pop, acoustic-tinged register, featuring restrained melodic songwriting, light arrangements and vocal work centered on interwoven harmonies. The rapid spread of their early videos on social media accompanied the trio’s emergence, before they developed a live presence both as openers and on their own tours. They sang with Lizzy McAlpine during her Tiny Desk appearance and have opened for artists such as Ingrid Michaelson, Gracie Abrams, Noah Kahan, Vance Joy, Lake Street Dive and James Taylor, placing the group within a broad anglophone folk and indie-pop scene. Their first EP, Tiny Things, was released in 2023, followed by the album All for Something in 2024. The track “Embers” also appears on the soundtrack of the film Your Place or Mine. Across these releases, Tiny Habits has maintained an intimate aesthetic based on the closeness of the voices and compact song formats.
