NGHTMRE

Under the name NGHTMRE, Tyler Marenyi has been developing since the mid-2010s an electronic project born between Stamford, Connecticut, where he was born, and Raleigh, North Carolina, where he grew up, before settling in Los Angeles. His work sits at the crossroads of trap EDM, dubstep, future bass, house and electro house, with a marked taste for tight rhythms, massive bass and formats that also venture toward rap and vocal music. After remixes played in the festival scene, NGHTMRE emerged in 2014 and saw his visibility accelerate when Skrillex played one of his tracks at the Ultra Music Festival. He then released on Mad Decent, Owsla, Monstercat or Circus Records, while multiplying collaborations with Slander, Dillon Francis, Zeds Dead, Flux Pavilion, Pegboard Nerds or The Chainsmokers. The relationship with Slander has a lasting place, with the Nuclear Bonds EP in 2015 and then the development of the Gud Vibrations universe. On the discography side, NGHTMRE released the EP Nghtmre in 2016, Magic Hour with Pell in 2018, then his first album Drmvrse in 2022. Between festival tracks, hip-hop incursions and more melodic tracks, NGHTMRE moves between major electronic events, international tours and live formats designed for club audiences as well as outdoor stages.
