Bebe Rexha
Born Bleta Rexha in New York in 1989 and raised in an American family of Albanian origin tied to North Macedonia, Bebe Rexha first established herself as a songwriter before developing a solo path across pop, contemporary R&B, dance and electro-pop, with forays into country pop and disco textures depending on the project. After a stint with the group Black Cards in the early 2010s, Bebe Rexha contributed to writing tracks for other artists, including The Monster by Eminem and Rihanna, before launching her career under her own name with the 2015 EP I Don’t Wanna Grow Up. Her direct vocal style and highly melodic choruses later feature in a series of widely broadcast collaborations, from David Guetta to Martin Garrix, G-Eazy or Florida Georgia Line, while establishing Bebe Rexha on international pop and electronic stages. Her solo discography centers on the albums Expectations (2018), Better Mistakes (2021), Bebe (2023) and Dirty Blonde (2026). From one album to the next, Bebe Rexha evolves her writing between club pop, synth-driven ballads and tracks more clearly oriented toward dance nostalgia, while keeping an accessible, rhythm-driven, song-centered approach.
