Requin Chagrin

Requin Chagrin is the project of Marion Brunetto, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who shapes her tracks alone before bringing them to the stage with a band whose lineup evolves. Since her beginnings, she has developed a distinctive French-language dreampop in which shoegaze, surf music and flashes of new wave intersect in songs washed in reverb and luminous melancholy. Her songwriting blends delicate melodic lines, hazy guitars and a retro‑modern aesthetic, which has allowed her to establish herself as one of the most endearing voices in today’s independent pop, between unapologetic nostalgia and dreamlike momentum.
