Ella Eyre

Born in Westminster and raised in Ealing, in the west of London, Ella Eyre established herself at the start of the 2010s in a register that blends pop, R&B, soul and electronic music, with a powerful voice often associated with British drum and bass and dance scenes. Trained at the BRIT School after a background as a young athlete, Ella Eyre emerged in 2013 with her participation in Waiting All Night by Rudimental, then quickly followed with collaborations in the pop and club world, notably with Bastille, Naughty Boy, DJ Fresh, Sigala, Banx & Ranx or Sigma as a writer. Solo, Ella Eyre developed a more direct and personal writing on the EP Deeper in 2013, then on the album Feline in 2015, where her pop-soul relies as much on the energy of the refrains as on more urban accents. After several notable singles at the end of the 2010s, including Came Here for Love, Answerphone and Just Got Paid in collaboration, Ella Eyre went through a pause due to vocal cord surgery in 2020, before resuming her activity independently. This new phase is reflected in more introspective tracks and in Everything, in Time, released in 2025, which extends for Ella Eyre a balance between contemporary pop, melodic soul and dance production.
