Jason Blaine
Born in Pembroke, Ontario, Jason Blaine has, since the early 2000s, built a career rooted in North American country music, combining singer‑songwriter writing, radio‑ready choruses and ballads focused on family, the road and small‑town life. Based in the Nashville area, he links the Canadian country scene with Tennessee's songwriting circuit, with an understated, melodic approach centered on storytelling. After While We Were Waiting (2005) he released several albums that shaped his path: Make My Move (2008), Sweet Sundown (2010), Life So Far (2011), Everything I Love (2013) and Country Side (2015), followed by the EPs Boy with a Guitar (2017) and Go with Me (2020). Jason Blaine continued with Diamonds in the Desert in 2022 and Russham Road in 2025. His repertoire blends contemporary country, roots touches and measured pop‑country into short, direct, narrative songs. Alongside his own releases, he also writes for other artists, including Chris Janson, Parmalee, Petric and Madeline Merlo.
