On April 17, 2026, A Burial At Sea and new hvn will take over Petit Bain in Paris for an evening of post‑rock and distorted guitars.
A Burial At Sea, a British ambient post‑rock band, has shaped its identity around instrumental compositions and a sense of crescendo rooted in the UK scene. Two albums and numerous tours across Ireland, the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia have honed their playing, between contemplative textures and more abrasive surges.
Formed in Liverpool in 2025, new hvn brings together former members of A Burial At Sea with the desire to break out of the post‑rock rut. The project bridges rock, alternative and grunge while keeping its roots, with shoegaze and post‑hardcore inflections. Isolated at Black Bay Studios on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland, the band crafted a first set of ten tracks, due in 2026, drawing on influences that include Pinegrove and Cloakroom.
