Info
On February 6, 2027, at The London Palladium, Judy Collins brings her Farewell Concert to London, surrounded by friends for one last big night that sums up a singular career. Coming out of the American folk revival with a classical pianist’s touch, she’s spent decades stretching the format: intimate acoustic songs, string-led arrangements, chamber-pop detours, country shades, and the kind of standards she can make feel like first drafts. Expect a set built around the songs and writers she’s always known how to inhabit, from her own later writing to the timeless pieces most closely tied to her voice, delivered with that clear, storyteller phrasing.
Seth Lakeman joins the bill with his punchy West Country folk: fiddle up front, narrative ballads, and melodies built for the road, somewhere between tradition and folk-rock drive.
Eliza Carthy, singer and fiddler with deep roots in English folk, brings the sharp energy of traditional ballads turned inside out, mixing dance-floor momentum with modern arrangements and a very personal way of carrying old songs into the present.
