Info
Rod Stewart brings “The Final Encore” to Glasgow, at OVO Hydro, on April 29, 2027. A chance to catch that unmistakable raspy voice in a set that pulls from decades of songs where rock drive meets soul phrasing and pop hooks. From the early solo records that mixed folk and R&B edges to the era of big, radio-ready choruses and ballads, Stewart’s live shows are built around storytelling, singalong moments, and a feel for covers that he’s always made his own. Expect a tour stop that plays with contrasts: rough and tender, loose band energy and polished melodies, all carried by a performer who’s never stopped moving between styles.
Howard Jones is also on the bill, bringing a very different kind of intensity. Known for a vocal style that flips between clean lines and heavier techniques, he’s made his name in modern metal through projects that lean on sharp dynamics: weighty riffs, tight rhythmic punch, and melodic releases. In Glasgow, his set should add a darker, high-impact counterpoint to the night.
