Info
Clouseau comes to SPOT/De Oosterpoort in Groningen on February 23, 2027, with that distinctive Dutch-language pop the band has been leaning on since the 1980s. Around Koen and Kris Wauters, Clouseau built a sound that leans on clear melodies, pop-rock with guitars and keyboards, and vocals that always take the lead. Live, it’s about songs that stay close to daily life: relationships, small doubts, moments everyone knows.
Those who follow the band know that their breakthrough in the late 1980s was tied to songs like 'Anne' and the album Hoezo?, and that in the early 1990s they also took part in the Eurovision Song Contest with 'Geef het op'. Afterwards they again went full throttle for Dutch and their repertoire grew further with albums from the 1990s and 2000s. In Groningen you won’t get a history lesson, but a set that leans on sing-alongs, ballads and that direct, down-to-earth energy in which Clouseau excels on stage.
