Info
The Stylistics return on November 10, 2026 at Central Theatre in Chatham for a night built around that unmistakable Philadelphia soul signature: silky harmonies, orchestral touches, and Russell Thompkins Jr.’s legacy of sky-high falsetto lines that helped define the group’s early sound.
Expect a set that leans into the classics that shaped their identity in the early 70s, when producer Thom Bell and lyricist Linda Creed gave their songs that elegant, slow-burning sweep. From tender ballads to mid-tempo soul grooves, the show traces the band’s evolution from their landmark run of albums through the lighter pop-soul and disco-tinged turns that followed. Still touring today around founding members Airrion Love and Herb Murrell, The Stylistics bring a repertoire made for singing along, with melodies that land soft and stay with you.
