Info
On 1 July 2026 at KOKO in London, Angus & Julia Stone bring their quiet magnetism to the stage with songs shaped by two distinct voices that meet in close harmonies. Formed in 2006, the Australian brother-sister duo move between folk, indie pop and a touch of americana, favouring acoustic textures and understated melodies. Raised on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, they started with their own songs at open mics before building a shared repertoire that carried them from Australia to the UK.
Their path runs through early EPs Chocolates and Cigarettes and Heart Full of Wine, then A Book Like This and Down the Way, the latter opening wider doors with Big Jet Plane. After solo detours, they reunited for the self-titled Angus & Julia Stone, co-produced with Rick Rubin, and kept refining their balance of narrative folk and soft pop on Snow. In 2021, they wrote the soundtrack Life Is Strange for the video game True Colors, then returned to the studio format with Cape Forestier in 2024.
On stage, they draw from across this catalogue, letting delicate guitar lines and unadorned arrangements carry stories that shift from whisper to chorus. It’s the conversation between their voices—sometimes braided, sometimes alternating—that sets the tone for a set that moves from confessional folk to airy, melodic pop at KOKO.
