The Proclaimers

On 31 October 2026 at Plymouth Arena in Plymouth, The Proclaimers bring Craig and Charlie Reid’s unmistakable twin-voice chemistry to the stage. Formed in 1983, the brothers push between acoustic clarity and a fuller band sound, mixing folk rock, roots rock and pop with a pulse shaped by punk. Tight harmonies, plain-spoken lyrics and a strong Scottish accent remain at the core of their identity.

Since their early run with This Is the Story (1987) and Sunshine on Leith (1988), the duo have built a catalogue that threads Letter from America, I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) and Sunshine on Leith with songs that look at everyday lives, social shifts and politics. The journey has continued through Hit the Highway, Persevere, Born Innocent with Edwyn Collins, then Life with You, Notes & Rhymes, Like Comedy, Angry Cyclist and Dentures Out, moving between acoustic intimacy and full-band drive without losing the directness of their writing.
