On Friday 18 September 2026, Najee brings his Under The Moon Over The Sky tour to Soul Mama Stratford in London. Saxophonist and flautist, he weaves smooth jazz and R&B with subtle world inflections, building sets where melody and groove take the lead. The concert spans highlights from a three‑decade career and new pieces from the latest album of the same name, originally featuring Regina Belle, Will Downing and Eric Roberson. On stage, Najee moves between supple sax lines and agile flute work, letting the music breathe with space for interplay and unhurried solos.

Born in New York and shaped by Jazzmobile and the New England Conservatory, Najee first broke through with Najee’s Theme, then Day by Day and Tokyo Blue. He has since collaborated with Prince, Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, Al Jarreau, George Duke, Herbie Hancock, Stanley Clarke and Billy Cobham. For this London date he’s joined by a seasoned band: Kevin Robinson on guitar and vocals, Daniel “DP” Powell on drums and percussion, Mark Harris II on keyboards and vocals, Christian Swan on keyboards, and Blair Bryant on bass.
