Christopher Cross

Christopher Cross brings his mellow soft rock and West Coast pop to Dublin, mixing radio standards and deeper cuts in a set shaped by clear melodies and clean guitar lines. Raised in San Antonio and breaking through at the end of the 70s, he made his mark with the 1979 self-titled debut and the singles Ride Like the Wind and Sailing, earning multiple Grammy Awards in 1981. The early 80s followed with Another Page and Every Turn of the World, plus Arthur’s Theme, written with Burt Bacharach and Carole Bayer Sager, which kept him on airwaves and soundtracks. Later albums like Back of My Mind and Rendezvous leaned into polished arrangements and soft vocal harmonies, a thread he’s carried through Walking in Avalon, Doctor Faith, Secret Ladder and Take Me As I Am.
