RONDÉ

On 29 October 2026 RONDÉ will play at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. The band formed at the Herman Brood Academy in the same city and has been developing a sound since the mid-2010s that blends synth-driven indie pop, bright guitars and direct choruses. Central is Rikki Borgelt’s voice, with layered harmonies and atmosphere-creating electronics that lean toward synthpop and alternative pop.

With their self-titled debut from 2017 RONDÉ set the tone; on Flourish (2019) the electronic layers were given more space and the songwriting became tighter and more danceable. Singles like “Run,” “Naturally” and “Bright Eyes” illustrate that trajectory: rhythms that hit right away, pulsing synths and hooks that stick, without losing the more introspective side.

Live, RONDÉ emphasize groove and dynamics. Songs grow from beats and synth layers into open, melodic choruses, alternating with moments where the voice and lyrics come to the fore. In Utrecht the group will present a set that smoothly shifts between energetic tracks and quieter passages, with room for early work as well as recent material.
