Cat Power celebrates 20 years of The Greatest and brings this chapter of her discography back to the stage in the Neue Welt in Berlin on October 15, 2026. Behind Cat Power is Chan Marshall, a defining voice since the ’90s at the intersection of indie folk and rock. Her distinctive, fragile voice and her instinct for spare, precise arrangements shape songs that oscillate between a pared-down acoustic frame and electric shades.

The Greatest was released in 2006 and opened her repertoire toward soul and blues without giving up the intimate directness of her earlier records. This tour picks up exactly there: a focus on the album’s songs, carried by subdued grooves, warm melodies and the kind of intensity Marshall carefully builds in concert.
