Info
DIIV returns to France with a stop in Paris on June 1, 2027 at the Olympia, an opportunity to see on stage again the New York quartet led by Zachary Cole Smith, with Andrew Bailey, Colin Caulfield and Ben Newman. Since its Brooklyn debut, the band has drawn a clear line between indie rock, dream pop and shoegaze: guitars in washes of sound, hazy melodies and rhythms that move forward without faltering, like a gentle tension beneath the surface.
This concert is part of the continuity of a discography that has grown denser across albums, from Oshin to Is the Is Are, then a rougher turn with Deceiver and a more direct approach on Frog in Boiling Water. DIIV also returns to present ZIRP!, a new chapter produced by A. G. Cook, where rock energy rubs against more experimental pop without losing its sense of the chorus. An evening to gauge how the band broadens its contours while preserving its identity.
