Info
On October 22, 2026 in Manchester, the Norwegian progressive rock band Airbag brings its immersive, slow-burning sound back to England for a rare live date. Formed in Oslo in the mid-2000s, the trio has carved a space in modern prog with long-form, cinematic tracks built on atmospheric guitars, patient dynamics, and melodies that hit on an emotional level without overplaying it.
Their set draws from a run of albums that mapped their evolution from Identity (2009) through All Rights Removed, The Greatest Show on Earth, Disconnected and A Day at the Beach, up to The Century of the Self (2024), a record that leans into ambitious structures and deeper themes. Expect meticulous playing, extended builds, and that distinctive blend of floating textures and sharp turns that nods to the classic prog lineage while staying firmly current.
