Info
On December 17, 2026, Lord Huron brings its cinematic brand of indie folk to MTELUS in Montréal for an evening built around songs that feel like road stories and late-night radio transmissions. Founded in Los Angeles by Michigan-born Ben Schneider, the project started as a solo adventure before turning into a full band, with a sound that blends reverb-soaked guitars, tight vocal harmonies and wide-open Americana atmospheres.
Across albums like Lonesome Dreams, Strange Trails, Vide Noir and Long Lost, Lord Huron has kept a taste for narrative songwriting and concept-driven worlds: recurring characters, duskier detours, and that slightly haunted western-pop feel that sticks in your head. Live, these tracks stretch out and hit differently, somewhere between folk rock drive and dreamlike, soundtrack moods. Expect a set that moves through their different eras while keeping the same thread: storytelling you can step into, carried by melodies made for a dark room and a big chorus.
