On January 23, 2027, at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier (Montreal), Yoann Bourgeois and Patrick Watson gather for a meeting of music and movement, conceived as a true stage performance. On one side, Bourgeois, used to working gravity, balance and fall as choreographic materials, builds clear physical images, almost cinematographic. On the other, Patrick Watson, Montreal-based songwriter with a high-pitched voice, brings his melodies between chamber pop and indie folk, carried by a sense of detail that is as much about the intimate as the expansive.
Together, they weave a single narrative: a concert that is as much watched as it is heard, where the songs become a living backdrop and where the body responds to the music without trying to illustrate. An evening at the border between the concert and the performance, for those who enjoy when the stage tells a story, simply, without chatter.
