On December 16, 2026, Lord Huron will perform at MTELUS in Montreal for an evening centered on his universe of storytelling and vast landscapes. Led by Ben Schneider, the project born in Los Angeles has taken the form of a real band, with his distinctive way of weaving together indie folk, folk rock and Americana, between reverberating guitars, vocal harmonies and cinematic backdrops.
On stage, one finds that penchant for songs that tell stories, populated with characters and images that recur like episodes. From the early impulses of Lonesome Dreams to the more nocturnal atmosphere of Strange Trails, and then to the psychedelic hues of Vide Noir, Lord Huron unfolds music conceived as a film, with its twists and shadows. Long Lost extends the concept-album aspect, in the manner of a reinvented old variety show, and reminds us how much the group loves to play with staging. A concert built to carry you away, without trying to explain everything.
