On November 17, 2026, at La Bellevilloise, feeble little horse presents bitknot, their third album. Written, arranged, produced and recorded at home by Sebastian Kinsler, Lydia Slocum and Jake Kelley in Pittsburgh, this record explores the space between human nature and the culture of comfort. Between the physical and the digital, it sketches a language that weaves back ties of interdependence, far from the idea of self-sufficiency. Even the cover says a lot: inspired by old toroidal magnetic memories, it imagines a network of wires and “bits” as knots that house memories and data, a map of the connections that nourish these songs.

On stage, that canvas becomes material: Kinsler’s delicate arrangements, Slocum’s singing and introspection, Kelley’s precise drumming. The harmonies rub up against distorted guitars, walls of sound, and a profusion of synths and samples, with melodies that catch without smoothing over the rough edges. The band plays the friction between softness and abrasion, drawing on legacies of the 2000s and contemporary angles.
