On February 16, 2027, JPEGMAFIA heads to L’Olympia in Paris for a concert that promises to spotlight everything that makes him unique. Behind this name, Barrington Hendricks, alias “Peggy,” is a rapper and producer who bends the codes of hip-hop with razor-sharp writing and production that is at once meticulous and abrasive. His music moves between experimental and alternative rap, industrial textures, glitch, sound collages and rhythmic ruptures, with a sense of contrast that swings from aggression to more ethereal melodies without warning. Breakthrough to the wider public with Veteran, he followed with All My Heroes Are Cornballs and then LP!, all while maintaining a very personal, hands-on approach to sound and storytelling. More recently, I Lay Down My Life for You confirms this independent and uncompromising trajectory. On stage, energy is central: a physical, dense show where tracks transform and where every drop feels like a risk.
