Cassia, a British trio formed in Macclesfield, arrives in Paris on 25 November 2026 for a show at Backstage & O'Sullivans By The Mill. Known for a blend of indie pop and pop rock threaded with rhythms inspired by African and tropical music, they shape songs with bright guitars and supple percussion, carried by a gentle voice and slightly melancholic melodies. On stage, their light grooves invite dancing effortlessly, while their songwriting keeps one foot in introspection.

After a string of singles and EPs, Cassia refined their approach with Replica (2019) and Why You Lacking Energy? (2022), two milestones that expand their sonic palette without losing the direct momentum of their early days. Themes of travel, the road and departures run through their world and their way of combining rhythmic warmth, alternative pop and British-style songwriting. Returning to France after a full run at La Boule Noire in 2025, Cassia comes back with that clear, wide sound, ready to make the Backstage resonate without heavy effects—just the effectiveness of a trio driven by groove.
