On April 22, 2026 at Le Hasard Ludique, Alexis Taylor — vocals and keyboards of Hot Chip — presents Paris In The Spring, a new chapter in his solo career as the band marks its 25th anniversary. Largely recorded in Paris at the studio of Nicolas Godin (Air), the album blends alternative pop, modern country, understated disco and electronic textures with a cinematic grain. The songs walk a tightrope between supple keyboards, discreet guitars and a lead vocal, exploring transformation, vulnerability and creative momentum.

Surrounded by collaborators such as The Avalanches, Lola Kirke, Étienne de Crécy, Pierre Rousseau and Green Gartside, Taylor merges a folk sensibility from across the Channel with a distinctively Parisian attention to detail. His music remains luminous while retaining a measure of introspection, carried by a relaxed groove and crisp melodies that run through his output.
