Info
Prinz Grizzley performs together with his band, the Beargaroos, on Friday, March 12, 2027, at Dynamo Zürich (Werk21). Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the support act starts at 7:00 PM. In keeping with the release of his new album, Prinz Grizzley invites you to a concert in Zürich at the Dynamo. He draws from country, Americana, blues and folk, is deeply rooted in the Austrian Alps, and moves listeners far beyond his homeland with his music. Prinz Grizzley has a knack for weaving together mountain landscapes, forests, stubbornness, and warmth of heart into a distinctive sound tapestry. Following the albums Come On In, To My Green Mountains Home and Dear Leftovers, as well as international milestones, including performances at SXSW in Austin and AmericanaFest in Nashville, he now opens a new chapter. After his appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival, the musician returns to Switzerland for this show. With his new studio album Tilda, the songwriter explores paths beyond the familiar Americana breadth. He opts for a reduced, darker sound and dedicates himself to a raw, intimate folk. Autobiographical traces from the life of his grandparents – war, loss and renewal in uncertain times – meet a present full of upheaval. Tilda is a work full of vulnerability and resilience, which brings the listener very close.
