The Initiativ is a Parisian indie rock duo formed in 2022 by Julie and Mateo, who met in high school. Influenced by post-punk, shoegaze, and psychedelic rock, the band moves between luminous and post-apocalyptic atmospheres.
Their music relies on complementarity: voices with opposing timbres, guitars blending bright melodies with powerful riffs, and a dynamic rhythm section. Between chaos and light, The Initiativ builds a dark, energetic and melodic universe. The band will release its first EP on October 16.
Coal Noir is a Paris-based grunge-pop band that has existed since 2022, consisting of four members: Léa, Chana, Emma and James. Their music is abrasive and melodic, socially conscious and sensitive.
Laces is a band founded by Dhali Sebie, blending indie rock, new wave, post-punk and Afrobeat influences into an electric mix. The project is now a trio, following the release of the first solo EP 'Mozaic' entirely produced by the band's leader. Get a sneak peek of upcoming tracks from their repertoire.
