Info
On May 14, 2027, Dubioza Kolektiv lands at The Academy in Dublin with the kind of full-speed, genre-hopping set that made the Bosnian collective a staple of the alternative ex-Yugoslav scene and far beyond. Formed in 2003, the band built its sound on collisions: ska-punk energy, reggae bounce, hip-hop flow, rock guitars, and Balkan brass, all tied together by chant-ready choruses and a sharp sense of rhythm.
Live, they lean into constant back-and-forth with the crowd, switching between local languages and English as they move through songs shaped by the region’s social and political reality, from migration and corruption to identity and digital habits. Expect a dense, fast show where punchy grooves and raw riffs keep shifting direction without losing momentum, and where the party vibe always comes with something to say.
