On December 4, 2026, Black Sherif lands at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London for a live set built on the tension that runs through his music: melody that turns into rap, and rap that slips back into song. Raised in Konongo-Zongo in Ghana’s Ashanti region, Mohammed Ismail Sherif has carved out a sound where highlife and afrobeats meet hip-hop, reggae and drill, with a delivery that stays tight and urgent.
If you first caught him through “First Sermon” and “Second Sermon” (and that Burna Boy remix), you’ll hear how those early breakthroughs connect to the darker, straight-to-the-point mood of his debut album The Villain I Never Was. More recently, Iron Boy pushes the same mix of introspection and street-level realism, switching between Twi and English and keeping one foot in Ghanaian roots and the other in UK energy.
