Info
On April 15, 2027 at Jack Singer Concert Hall in Calgary, Bruce Cockburn brings his songs back to the stage in a show built around voice, storytelling, and that unmistakable fingerstyle guitar. Coming out of the late-60s Canadian folk scene, he’s never stayed in one lane: his writing moves easily between acoustic folk roots, touches of rock and jazz, and a wider palette of sounds gathered over decades on the road.
Expect a set that highlights what has always made Cockburn stand out: melodies that feel direct, lyrics that look outward and inward at the same time, and arrangements that can shift from close-up intimacy to a tougher edge when the songs call for it. From spiritual hues and landscape sketches to sharper social observation, his catalog offers plenty of room for surprise, with the kind of playing that makes even quiet moments feel fully alive.
