Info

Launched by the Leeum Museum of Art in Seoul in 2001, Art Spectrum established itself initially as a platform dedicated to emerging Korean artists. In 2024, the programme expanded to artists from across Asia, fostering new international collaborations. The 2026 edition is presented for the first time at the Hoam Museum of Art, in collaboration with the Palais de Tokyo.

The exhibition "ARoomWhereEveryRadioIsTunedtoDifferentStations" questions the symbolic reach and the institutional conventions of the Hoam Museum of Art as well as the conditions that have shaped Art Spectrum across its editions. Deployed across the museum's interior and exterior spaces, it brings together 23 artists and collectives from 10 Asian countries, whose practices traverse the visual arts, cinema, performance, architecture, design, music, fashion, and publishing. Without seeking to impose a common identity, the exhibition explores the resonances that can arise between positions, histories, and diverse sensibilities.

"ARoomWhereEveryRadioIsTunedtoDifferentStations" unfolds as a polyphonic space traversed by multiple frequencies, sometimes familiar, sometimes barely perceptible. Through works, architectural projects, musical performances, cooking workshops, talks, and interventions within the museum, the exhibition traces the unforeseen trajectories of voices, images, and narratives that intersect, transform, and respond to one another.
